Provide oversight to staff and manage the provision of training and technical assistance project plans to Head Start and Early Head Start programs. Assess Head Start program needs and recommend solutions and tools for improving quality, reviewing and maintaining management information systems, and coordinating strategies to meet the needs of the Head Start organizations that will be served. Collaborate and foster relationships with other Head Start partners through excellent customer service and communication skills.

Basic Qualifications:
-10+ years of experience with providing leadership in early childhood development, including Head Start
-Experience with managing multiple client assignments, technical and functional content, budgets, and staff resources
-Knowledge of Head Start regulations on a local, state, and federal level
 
Additional Qualifications:
-5-7+ years of experience with leading, coaching, and developing junior staff of at least 15 
-Knowledge of Microsoft Office
-Ability to maintain and expand client relationships through the delivery of high-quality work
-Possession of excellent computer skills
-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
-BA or BS degree in Education, Finance, Accounting, Management, or a related field preferred
-Project Management Certification a plus

Perform programmatic oversight of Head Start grantees. Review and process grantee applications to determine the continuation of funding. Assist grantees with programmatic and fiscal questions. Review results of official monitoring reports and assist with implementation of corrective action. Assess grantees and provide appropriate intervention to safeguard federal funds and ensure Head Start program compliance. Perform quality assurance on draft review reports to ensure proper regulatory citations and identify trends emerging from the field reports. Apply knowledge of federal grant guidelines, including those of the Department of Health and Human Services, Administration for Children and Families, and Head Start programs.

Basic Qualifications:
-3 years of experience in working with Head Start or Early Head Start grantees
-Knowledge of federal grant guidelines, including for HHS, ACF, and Head Start programs  
-Experience in working with budgets and fiscal requirements
-BA or BS degree in Education, Business, or Accounting required
 
Additional Qualifications:
-BA or BS degree in a related field
-Experience in working with policy councils or oversight authority a plus
-Ability to be a professional team player
-Possession of excellent task management, computer, and organizational skills
-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
-Ability to be flexible and adaptable in completing required tasks
-Ability to pay strict attention to detail
