IHSA PRESENTS Upcoming Trainings in the NEW YEAR!!
Don't miss out on Leading Through Change "A Toolkit For Success" January 21 - 22, 2010. Located at the IHSA Office.
As Head Start moves into the 21st Century, programs are experiencing both changes and opportunities that are challenging them in ways they have never experienced in the past. Effective leadership is a crucial component to ensure a resilient organization in times of change. But resilience has to be built into a program's and an organization's systems in advance, like a strong immune response before flu season. In practice this means widening how we interact with our community, learning new knowledge and skills and making new connections rather than narrowing to the fewest possible essential threats, plans or policies.
