Chicago Commons Innovative Human Services Child Development Programs strive to exceed our funders' requirements. There are 6 sites located in Humboldt Park, New City (Back of the Yards), Pilsen & West Town for children 6 wks. - age 12. Our program options include: center based Early Head Start, subsidized child care, full day family child care, Early Head Start family child care, 1/2 day Head Start (10 mos. & year round), Head Start full day/child care collaboration, full day child care/PreK collaboration, and school age. We explore and foster ongoing, innovative investigations in child care, education and family support. We are committed to exploring the Reggio Emilia approach to early childhood education. Our programs promote the cognitive, emotional, social and physical growth for almost 1,000 children, establishing valuable life skills, attitudes, and knowledge for the future.
