IHSA supports Illinois Head Start and Early Head Start programs with staff recruitment and retention. All of our IHSA Members have unlimited 'view' access to job postings on our Career page. To kick off the free benefit of your own Jobs Board 'admin' access, take 3 steps:
(1) email your request along with your attached PDF for the new listing you wish to feature [see posting requirements below];
(2) designate which staff person at your agency gets to obtain the 'admin' access, (by including that designate's full name & email address);
(3) and finally 'cc' both that designated person AND your Grantee Director before emailing the information and your attached file to mwood@ilheadstart.org. It's that easy. A confirmation email (to both the new Designate and Grantee Director) will be sent out (look for it within 24-48 hours after you see that New Listing posted).
For Head Start / Early Head Start HIRES postings, please send either a PDF file &/or your own direct link to your agency’s employment web-page to: mwood@ilheadstart.org. Ensure your job announcement is ready to go and fully proved and includes the following details:
Agency contact information
Instructions for applicants (e.g., apply via email, phone, or website)
Job location (city or specific site)
Application deadline (if applicable)
Important for any 3RD PARTY submitting posting/s, an email to mwood@ilheadstart.org must 'cc' your agency’s director &/or designate to confirm prior approval.
Important for your JOBS BOARD postings (your more in-depth optional access to highlight job position/s), your listing/s may remain active for 90 days or longer, until your designated Jobs Board access person logs into Members Only section of our IHSA website to access the JOBS BOARD (available to them 24/7 to post/adjust/remove your PDFs).
Forward your PDF file (as instructed above). Non-member postings are $50 each and have a 30-day expiration, including weekends and holidays. Upon posting consent and payment, a link to your IHSA invoice will be emailed to you. Paying by credit card will now include the current 4.09% transaction fee. Regular social posts are included as well, bringing our viewers to these Chicago and Downstate pages.
